I'm Stacie Middlekauff. I've been organizing for years and formally started Sorted Spaces in 2021. I have worked in many different fields but no job has brought me as much joy as helping others overcome their clutter. I have a Bachelors in Communication, a Masters in Psychology, and my husband and I have a 4-year-old son who has taught me more about life than all my other experiences and training combined. I am a member of Iowa Professional Organizers (IPO) and I am working towards becoming a Certified Professional Organizer through the National Association of Productivity and Organizing (NAPO).

Organizing is my passion and my superpower and I like to think I take a holistic approach to what I do. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in your physical space, but also in your head space. I hope to do more than just "rearrange your things.” I come to you without judgement or prejudice, bringing an open mind and fresh eyes. We can look at all the issues cluttering your world. Together we can customize a plan based on your needs, your style, and your budget. It is important to me that we have a trusting, respectful, working relationship - and hopefully a little fun.

No space is off limits, or "too far gone" for Sorted Spaces! Organizing is a process. Wherever you need help you can expect that I'll clear, clean, evaluate, plan, research, purchase, and reassemble a more functional space, based on your needs and budget.

My Process

1. Fill me in!

I do best with in person consultations. I like to see the space, understand how your brain works, hear your goals, obstacles, history, timeline, schedule, and budget. No pressure on anything!

2. S.O.R.T

During each session we'll determine what items you want to Save, Offload, Relocate, or Trash; and how to appropriately store, display, or dispose of your items.

3. Revamp

Finally, I can research and purchase products, if necessary, tailored for your space. We'll make sure the placement of everything is suitable and sustainable.
